2021 Australian Veterans Championships Nominations
Nominations Close: 15th July 2021
Nominations are hereby called for players interested in being included in Table Tennis Western Australia (TTWA) teams for this year’s championship. Players nominating need to commit to a full week and should also be aware of the following:
Selected players who do not have an up to date uniform, shall receive one full uniform set including: Tracksuit Jacket & Pants, Playing Shirt and Shorts. Additional uniform items shall be available for purchase.
Team entry fees will be payable by the Association provided players enter at least one individual event otherwise a proportion of the team fee will be payable.
Individual entry fees will be payable by the players.
When a player is eligible for selection for teams in more than one age group, that player may nominate the age group of his/her preference, but the final decision as to the age group they participate in shall be determined by TTWA.
TTWA may enter 'A’ and ‘B’ teams subject to the number of nominations received. A firm commitment is needed by players who are available for selection. Players will be invoiced for deposit payment once nomination received. The Association will then hold the deposit until the teams are announced and then depending on the circumstances, treat it as follows:
Selection of teams shall be finalised early August.
Selected in a team: Deposit will be applied against individual event entry fees and any other state team costs and the balance (if any) refunded after the championship.
Not selected in a TTWA or Presidents team: Deposit will be refunded in full.
Withdrawal from selected team: The deposit will be forfeited unless it can be demonstrated that the withdrawal was on medical grounds or due to extenuating circumstances acceptable to the Board of Management.
Should the $250 deposit be insufficient to cover costs. Players shall be invoiced for any additional costs. Payment PRIOR to submission of the event entry forms shall be required.
