2025 WA STATE CLOSED TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Entries are to be made online through the TTWA website.
2. The Championship will be played in accordance with TTWA, TTA and ITTF rules and regulations.
3. An umpire, whose decision is final on point of fact, shall control each game.
4. Players will be requested to umpire by the Tournament Organiser. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action being taken against the participant.
5. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse entries and to cancel or amalgamate any event due to lack of entries.
6. All events will follow a knockout format. Any event which is played as a single round robin may, at the discretion of the Tournament Committee, be played through to completion with no final being played.
7. MEN'S and WOMEN'S Open Singles events will be the best of 7 games, and the first round may be played in groups depending on the number of players. All other events will be the best of 5 games.
8. No claim will be recognised against the organisers of the event should any player be injured during participation in the Championships.
9. Players must report to the Official's table 15 minutes prior to their events. Players who have not reported when called to play, will be disqualified.
10. All competitors must be FULL registered members (not social/recreational members) of TTWA, or another state association, or another country affiliated association.
11. Racket coverings may be pink, purple, green, blue or red on one side and black on the other. No gluing or re-gluing of racquets is permitted inside the playing venue.
12. ITTF approved DHS 3-Star DJ40+ WTT plastic white balls will be used.
13. All nominated doubles combinations for Open Events are required to wear matching clothing, thereby adhering to ITTF clothing regulations. Opponents in singles events are required to wear contrasting colours. It is recommended that players bring a second shirt of another colour. No white shirts are permitted.
14. The MIXED COUNTRY DOUBLES event will be open to players of any gender.
15. All under-age events are open to players who have not turned the particular age before 31/12/2024.
16. All over age events are open to persons who have attained or will attain that particular age group as of 31/12/2025.
17. Entry in the Under 1300 events is open to players with a Ratings Central rating below 1300 between 15/06/2025 and 15/07/2025.
18. Entry in the Under 1000 events is open to players with a Ratings Central rating below 1000 between 15/06/2025 and 15/07/2025.
19. Tournament results will be entered into Ratings Central. The seeding will be based on the Ratings Central rating as at 23:59pm on Sunday 20th July 2025.
20. If a player does not have a Ratings Central rating the Tournament Organisers will determine their equivalent playing standard and thus determine estimated rating. The Tournament Organiser's decision shall be final.
