Table Tennis Australia

Diversity data is collected to understand the intersectionality of individuals, composition of a group or organisation and to identify any disparities or under-representation of certain demographic groups. It is used to inform decision-making processes, track progress towards diversity and inclusion goals, and design targeted strategies or interventions to promote equity, diversity and inclusion. By analysing diversity data, Table Tennis Australia can identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to create more inclusive environments and opportunities for all individuals.

As part of our commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion we want to garner a strong understanding of our workforce/participation/athlete composition to ensure we are making informed decisions about the future direction and priorities areas of our work. The information you provide will help us to understand where we are underrepresented, identify our cultural capabilities and ensure our focus is on supporting and sustaining an equitable, diverse and inclusive environment.

TTA handles all personal information in accordance with the TTA Privacy Policy. Although TTA does not currently provide any personal information to external parties and has no intention of providing any personal information to external parties in the future, by ticking the box below, I do not consent to my personal information being provided to any third parties that are not affiliated with TTA, TTA insurers, professional advisers (e.g. accountants, auditors, lawyers, etc.) and relevant sporting bodies (e.g. Australian Sports Commission)

As a member of Table Tennis Australia, you agree to abide by the National Integrity Framework and its core policies, which ensure a safe, fair, and inclusive sport environment. These policies include the:

  • Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy,
  • Member Protection Policy,
  • Improper Use of Drugs and Medicine Policy,
  • Competition Manipulation and Sports Gambling Policy, and the
  • Complaints, Disputes and Discipline Policy.

Table Tennis Western Australia

  1. Membership shall cease on 31 December each year. Membership prices include 10% GST.
  2. Upon registration, an individual becomes a member of Table Tennis Western Australia (TTWA) and Table Tennis Australia (TTA). Members are bound by the Constitution and relevant by-laws, policies and regulations of both TTWA and TTA.
  3. Club Play (Social) Membership is available to individuals who do not participate in any pennant competition match or tournament within Western Australia.
  4. Club Competition Membership and Country Club Competition Membership are the minimum membership levels required to participate in any pennant competition match or tournament within Western Australia.
  5. Competition Plus Membership is the minimum membership level required to be eligible for State and National Team representation. This requirement does not apply to Veterans, for whom the minimum requirement is Club Competition Membership.
  6. Junior Membership is only available to players who are under 18 years of age as at 1 January of the relevant membership year.
  7. Country Membership is only available to players residing outside the Perth Metropolitan area, defined as the area from Perth City bordered by the Local Government areas of Wanneroo, Swan, Mundaring, Kalamunda, Armadale, Serpentine-Jarrahdale and Rockingham.
  8. Membership entitles an individual to coverage under the insurance scheme administered by Table Tennis Australia Ltd. Members should familiarise themselves with any limitations or exclusions applying to this insurance coverage before participating in table tennis activities.
  9. Upon registration, a member agrees to report any injury, damage or loss suffered during a table tennis activity as soon as practicable to their nominated association or club.
  10. Personal information collected as part of a membership application will be collected, stored and used in accordance with the Table Tennis Western Australia Privacy Policy, available online.
  11. Upon registration, a member provides consent to necessary medical treatment where the member suffers an injury or illness as a consequence of participating in a table tennis activity.
  12. TTWA may adjust membership rates from time to time in accordance with the TTWA Constitution.
  13. Membership of the Association shall be deemed to commence upon acceptance of the membership application by the Table Tennis Western Australia Board of Management.
